If Versailles was a story

若凡尔赛为我讲述……

自童年始，参观凡尔赛宫总是和远方来宾的文化项目不谋而合。因为对大多数孩子而言，参观凡尔赛宫和公园属于一场不总让人愉悦的马拉松。但是参观也给我本身带来了一些虚幻的印象，误解重重：凡尔赛宫是豪宅？负荷的装饰是否来自于好的品味？
然而几个月前，我对凡尔赛宫一见倾心。当再次参观它时，我神魂颠倒于大量的材料，饰品的杂烩，色彩协调上审慎的豪华和宏伟壮观。
也许这是色彩的多样性，一些绘画主题的集中和线条的完美，这种完美让我渴望在画布上重新塑造一种巴洛克却又如此现代的氛围。很长时间内我一直在绘画中寻找纯洁的可能。在“凡尔赛”系列中，我也避免细节，运用物质来重新创造幻象和让我至今感到惊讶的天地中的戏剧性。
